Tami L. Dunnigan runs Tami’s School of Golf in Rome, New York and offers lessons to all ages and skill levels. With professional golf lessons and personal attention, the organization understands that golf is for everyone and wants to be able to cater to people whose goal is to learn the game the way they want to.

Dunnigan was a former member of the Teaching & Club Professional Division of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). She won the 1993 Brunswick Country Club Women’s Club Champion and 1993 and 1994 Golden Isles Tournament Champion.

Individual lessons from the school range in price from $25 to $50 and can be up to an hour long. The school also offer group rates for both junior and adult groups. Full prices can be found here.

Tami’s School of Golf offers golf camps for children five to eight years old. The Little Bits Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. This opportunity gives new golfers quality instruction with unlimited use of the driving range and practice facility. All practice balls are provided, and participants will have access to the course as well.

There are two one-week sessions. The first  one starts July 17 and ends July 21. The second begins on July 31 and ends Aug. 4. The cost per child is $100. These classes are limited to 15 participants. Reserve your spot for these instructional sessions here before spots fill up.

A junior league is also offered through the school. This kicks off on July 23 and is for ages 10-16. Each golfer must be able to carry and use a pull cart for nine holes.

The cost is $25 per week or $200 for the entire duration of the league, which runs for eight weeks. Money will be used for green fees, instruction and end-of-year prizes. The league will meet every Sunday for eight weeks at 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This time includes warm up, instruction and nine holes of competitive golf.   The league will be limited to 20 participants. The last two weeks will be used for a tournament and awards will handed out.  The tournament will be handicapped so all that participate will have a chance at the prizes.
